The movements are usually continuous, with one flowing smoothly into the next. It's like a slow, rhythmic dance routine. One of the great things about Tai Chi is that it can be practiced by people of all ages and fitness levels. It doesn't require any special equipment, and you can do it almost anywhere. We will be located past the pier, past the beach huts, at the opposite end of Saltburn beach car park. .
There is free parking at the top of the cliff but you need to walk down.
If you are at the pier , look out to sea. Walk to your left or in a westerly direction: You will see the sauna tent after a few minutes.
The activity is a bit further up the beach out of the way.

I have not done this before help!?
The activity is for complete beginners through to experts. This is for all levels and the teacher will give you what you need and take you to where you need to be, whether you are a beginner or advanced.
I'm not flexible - can I do this?
Yes! In fact you are a perfect candidate. Come as you are and you will find that practice will help you become more flexible . This newfound agility will be balanced by strength, coordination as well as a sense of physical confidence and overall well-being.
I'm not fit - can I do this?
Yes, absolutely. There is no assumed level of fitness required . Tai Chi can benefit everyone, giving you a sense of physical confidence and overall well-being.
Do I need a yoga mat?
No you do not need a matt but bring one of you feel it will bering comfort. You are mostly on your feet.
What if it is bad weather?
Mother nature is in charge. Part of the beauty of doing activities at the beach is connection to the elements. So if it is slightly rainey or windy we will embrace it!! However, if it is absolutely chucking it down or blowing a massive hooley we will look to use our back up location!
