Overview

On this retreat, we will release mental, emotional and energetic blockages, We will activate dormant cells and parts of your energetic system, to take you into a higher state of consciousness. We will tap into the deepest states of meditation, reconnecting with your deep inner wisdom We will explore your inner calling. We will lead you to a place where you can alchemise and manifest your perfect life. Do you seek clarity? Do you seek to move onto the next chapter? Do you seek breakthrough? Do you want to unravel a problem or issue? Do you want to take your breathwork and meditation to the next level? Do you want to experience something unique and magical? Are you curious to discover how deep you can go with breathwork ? Are you on self-exploration journey? Do you want to unlock the wisdom inside? Or are you just curious to feel and experience something unique? This beautiful breathing journey in nature is for you. Join us in community, around the fire, in nature, in a beautiful , peaceful, quiet location, in the woods, by the river. First we are served cacao to open up and relax our systems and put us into the meditation state... but with a push of energy- because we are going to need it! We then enter into a 3 hour cycle of breathwork. We have 3 different breath guides with different styles to guide you and awaken the subconscious mind. Each breath guide will work for 45-50 minutes and will offer a different facet to the breathwork experience. Between sessions you are again served cacao and we take a short walk together to the next session in a different natural environment. During this journey you will be supported throughout by experienced guides and facilitators. We finish and share scrumptious grounding healthy nutritious food around the fire. This event takes place in a private woodland not far from the sea near to Robin Hoods Bay. The event ends at 6PM. But we will have a fire ceremony after. Everyone leaves by 11pm.

Joby Boughey, is a master breathwork facilitator.  We do not know anyone with a wider breadth of knowledge and experience with breath protocols.  With his own self developed breathing  techniques such as the Weave method, his shamanic Healing, his energy Healing, Joby can provide you with a vast range of healing modalities that can help you in many ways . 


Joby's Journey has been a real rollercoaster after several near-death misses in his life, which has led him to delve into his own deep healing work.

Louise

Louise is a conscious connected breath facilitator, but she also touches on pranayama and meditation to ease us into this deep practice. She is here to hold a space for you to explore that in all capacities.Through this session we will leave pieces of baggage behind and fill the cup to the brim. This is an emotion evoking practice and we sometimes release this emotion in anyway we feel is right. All emotion is welcome and you shall be held and guided through that.

Helen

Helen Harris is a multi discipline Yoga teacher, Gong Master, Ayurvedic Masseuse and Birth Worker. She has a vast knowledge of breathwork and combines this with deep ancient practices from many lineages, most powerfully from her work as a Kundalini Yoga teacher.

Sam

Sam has studied ancient breathwork techniques for and is a popular choice  guiding breathwork sessions for customers of Whitby Wellbeing. He also plays various instruments such as the handpans, guitar, flute and sitar... which are all perfect accompaniment to the breath hold.

Sam's gentle style will have you feeling relaxed and calm and his music will take you into another realm.

Danny

Danny is the founder of Whitby Wellbeing and is experienced in helping people access higher states of consciousness with the medicine of nature.  Daniel has guided 1000s of people on meditation and breath work journies on the beaches, moors and woodland of North Yorkshire. . Danny will guide you through the process, make sure you are safe and feeling comfortable within the experience...and take you safely, nicely and gently to the edge of your comfort zone- where the growth takes place.

Cacao is served!

You are served ceremonial cacao which is raw chocolate from Peru... and so so much more. Cacao helps you to further relax into a meditative state and will give you additional energy for what is to come.

Breath session 1

You are guided on a breathwork journey using ancient breathing techniques to help you release mental emotional and physical blockages.  We start with gentle meditation and increase the pace in order to cleanse and release whatever is not serving us anymore. We break after 60 minutes.

Breath session 2

We walk to the new breathing spot, drinking more cacao if you feel you need.  You are guided on a breathwork journey where we bring in new energy for the forthcoming period, connecting with out inner wisdom, alchemising the energy will power and wisdom to bring about new plans and activities, manifesting your perfect life.  Again we break after 60 minutes.

Breath session 3

Connecting you to the power of the wisdom, energy, divine within, through the power of the breath you will be guided  step by step  into your highest vibration and inner calling of who you are here to be. We breal after 60 minutes.

Alone in your own energy

After 3 hours of breath work you will be in a high vibration and old stuff wouldv'e become unstuck. Now is the time to be alone with your thoughts. Journal. Meditate. Walk in Nature. Be gentle on yourself and start to intergrate what just went down.

Soup around the fire

You are served beautiful nutritious veggie soup around the fire. We discuss what just happened to help you integrate the learnings and experience.

Fire ceremony

If you want you can stay on around the fire. A fire ceremony is a powerful Shamanic practice used to release unwanted energies and attachments from the past and make space for new intentions. A fire ceremony can be used to release unhappy memories, fears, negative emotions, and anything that you are holding onto that doesn’t serve your Higher Self.  By releasing these unwanted energies and old patterns into the fire, you are healing at the soul level.

The energy in this ancient wodland is very special...

We are located deep in the woods. There is no noise. There is no light pollution. There are no other people. The air is clean. The water is clean. We are surrounded by forest. Whilst here we visit several different locations in the same vicinity, each one as beautiful and peaceful as the last. This is a private woodland and we will not be disturbed.

During breathwork you will be very still an cold can set in- so layers are good.

During the breathwork you will lose water as you breathe. So it is good to have a bottle nearby.

Try to remain in Golden Silence throughout. You will go deeper if you can be present and undistracted. This especially applies moving between breath sessions.

FAQs

Breathwork Meditation is different from traditional meditation. It's an active breathing meditation which helps you get into a mystical state using different balances of oxygen and carbon dioxide in your body, as well as activating various biochemical reactions.  

Yes! Breathwork meditation is suitable for everyone!  

There are an infinite number of breathwork protocols. The Wim Hof method is probably the most popular and is based on ancient yogic breathing practices. If the Wim Hof method is called for we can practice this method however we will explore a wide variety of breathwork patterns.
