Overview
Join us in the heart of Mother Nature where you connect to her and the nature spirits. Let yourself drop down - it’s time to fully let go, you’ll be in safe hands. We’ll take you on a powerful cacao, breath and sound journey. The breathwork will enhance the opportunity to detox, heal, repair and explore your own personal growth. All this while we fully immerse you in high vibrational sounds from the sacred gongs, bowls and drums. You’ll drift into a deeply meditative theta state. This is the place where you gain access into your subconscious mind, have mind blowing insights and literally reprogram patterns that no longer serve you. You will also enjoy the raw warmth of a wood fired Finnish sauna. The sauna is set up near a cleansing plunge pool looked over by a ancient oak tree. We are deep in the forest. There is no one else but us. If you love being in nature. If you love sauna. If you love bathing in sounds and the water. If you want to detox and heal. If you want to invest in your own self care, then you will absolutely love this. Please note the river dip is optional and at your own discretion and risk.

A beautiful peaceful hidden secret
There are no words for how beautiful this location is
We are located deep in the woods. There is no noise. There is no light pollution. There are no other people. The air is clean. The water is clean. We are surrounded by forest and overlooked by an old oak tree. The plunge pool is a very short walk from the sauna down the river bank. The plunge pool is shoulder deep with low rain but gets deeper if there has been heavy rain. The plunge pool is safe with no underwater obstacles and an easy walk in. The sound bath is placed just above the sauna area on a small rise and plateau amongst the trees.

Trip Tips

Wrap Up Warm!
Please dress for cold weather!! During breathwork and gongs you will be very still. Bring plenty of baggy clothes to get back into once you are finished after the sauna. Maybe a changing robe for modesty! It's cold but we can manage the cold by wearing, plenty of layers.

Bring a bottle of water
You will sweat a lot in the sauna and so bring some water... with maybe a crunch of sea salt in for hydration.

Wear swimming cozzie underneath
To save time when you get here just wear your cozzie underneath.
Be gentle and don't go out of your depth
If you do decide to have a dip , please be gentle on yourself, go in slowly and incrementally. Then when you are up to your waist slowly submerge. There is no need to go out of your depth. You dip at your own risk.

Head torch or torch
It is helpful for you to bring a head torch or torch. We do have lights, but it is best to have your own personal torch if you have one!

River shoes
The river is pebbly but it is totally safe but this can be slightly uncomfortable on some feet. So please bring sandals or wetsuit boots if you have sensitive feet and have them.
FAQs
What should I do in the sauna?
We recommend simply doing the sauna what traditional sauna-ers have long done: nothing. Just sit there. Let your mind go. Do some reflecting while your thinking is still sharp; meditate when your mind starts going blank. Just be.
What should I do after I sauna?
During your sauna session, you’ll lose a lot of water through your sweat — up to four cups during a twenty-minute session! Be sure to rehydrate with plenty of water afterward. Supplement with electrolytes as needed.
We would also recommend to just go easy on yourself. You will be in a state of high vibration and relaxation. You want to be in that state as long as possible so stay away from stressful or negative situations, people or media.
What should I bring?
Bottle of water. Towl. Yoga matt. Bag for putting clothes in while you are in the sauna. Dress in something loose and comfy with bathing costume underneath. We are just in bathing costume in the sauna then in and out of the sea (if you wish). Afterwards it's a case of getting back into your clothes again a bit wet, so consider a dressing gown/towel/ dry robe for modesty. PLease wrap up warm. Plenty of layers.
I do not want to go in the water
That is absolutely fine there is no pressure at all to go in the water! You can stay in the sauna as long as is comfortable and just take breaks out in the air.
What is a sound bath?
A sound bath is a meditative experience where those in attendance are “bathed” in sound waves. These waves are produced by various sources, including healing instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, percussion, chimes, rattles, tuning forks, and even the human voice itself.
What is breathwork?
Breathwork refers to any type of breathing exercises or techniques. People often perform them to improve mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. During breathwork you intentionally change your breathing pattern.
There are many forms of breathwork therapy that involve breathing in a conscious and systematic way. Many people find breathwork promotes deep relaxation or leaves them feeling energized.
