Choose from different wellbeing packages
The Whitby Wellbeing Weekender has a simple rhythm: enough structure to shape the days, enough space for your group to explore, rest, wander or do absolutely nothing. Here’s the packages you can choose from
Sauna Weekend
A simple, deeply restorative weekend built around daily wild sauna and cold water. You’ll visit a different sauna each day — all within 15 minutes of Whitby — following the rhythm of river, sea and coast.
Friday begins gently with sauna by the river. Saturday heads to Saltburn or Runswick Bay. Sunday closes at Sandsend or Whitby beach. Whatever sauna is live that weekend, it’s yours to explore. Come, sweat, dip, rest, repeat.
Wild Reset Weekend
A weekend weaving together wild sauna, breathwork, yoga, cacao and time in nature.
You’ll be guided through intentional practices designed to reset your nervous system, clear the mind and reconnect you to yourself and the land.
Taking place at the Whitby Wellbeing meadow and woodland.
Foraging Weekender
A weekend rooted in land connection, seasonal food and ancestral skills. The Remembering is about slowing down and relearning how to see, listen and gather. Expect guided foraging walks, plant stories, simple preparation, shared meals, fire, sauna and time in meadow and woodland. This is not about productivity — it’s about remembering what you already know, in your bones.
Sweat Lodge Weekender
A ceremonial weekend centred around the sweat lodge. This is a deeper, more intentional container for those called to ritual, release and reflection. The lodge sits within a wider weekend of preparation, integration, fire, rest and nature connection, supported by sauna and grounding practices. Held with care, respect and integrity, this is powerful work — simple, ancient and profound.
Breathwork Weekend
Step away from the noise and spend a weekend exploring the power of breath in beautiful natural settings around Whitby. From meadow to ancient woodland cave to waterfall, this immersive weekend blends breathwork, cacao, nature and cold water to help you reset, reconnect and return home feeling clearer and lighter.
Custom Weekend
If you have something specific in mind, we can also design a custom weekend for your group. We’re happy to shape the schedule around you and bring together a mix of activities — movement, breathwork, sauna, foraging, wild food, cold water, or simply time on the land — to create a weekend that fits your group perfectly.

Faqs
How many people can stay in the house?
The house sleeps up to eight people across four bedrooms. It’s ideal for families, groups of friends, or small celebrations looking for a cosy home base in Whitby.
Do I need any experience?
No experience needed. Everything is guided and hands-on. Our facilitators are skilled. You’ll be supported every step of the way and can join in as much or as little as you like.
Where is the house located?
It’s in a peaceful residential area of Whitby, away from the crowds but only a 15-minute walk to the beach and town. Quiet at night, easy to wander during the day.
What do I need to bring?
Bedding, towels, Wi-Fi, kitchen kit, and basics are all included. Just bring your usual weekend stuff — clothes, food, swimwear, maybe walking boots.Weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear.
Where do the events take place?
The saunas are held on the beaches around Whitby. The events are at Sneatonthorpe 5 mins south of Whitby in a private meadow and ancient woodland with a stream. Each gathering is held outdoors — in woodland or meadow settings with access to a sauna and campfire.
Is food provided?
Accommodation includes a full kitchen with fridge and freezer, so you can cater for yourselves as you normally would in an Airbnb. Depending on the weekend you choose, some food is also provided. For example, our basic wellbeing morning includes a simple, nourishing breakfast for everyone.
Is it suitable for children?
No sorry. The events are not suitable for children.
What if it rains on the events?
We work with the weather. There’s always shelter, we have a teepee and some inside space...and the fire and sauna keep everyone warm. Bring waterproofs and embrace it — a bit of rain often makes the day even more memorable.
Is parking available?
Yes — there is one private parking space and room for additional cars on the street.
Can we cook and eat together at the house?
Absolutely. There’s a fully equipped kitchen, a bright dining space, and an enclosed garden for eating outdoors. It’s great for shared meals.
How do we choose which wellbeing activities we want?
Different activities run on different weekends, so the easiest way is to get in touch with us directly. Our movement package runs every week, while the forage and wild cooking weekends take place on the first week of each month.
You can either:
tell us the dates you’re planning to come and we’ll let you know what’s available, or
tell us which package you’re most interested in and we’ll share the dates that match.
Either way, we’ll help you shape the best weekend for your group.
Do activities happen at the house or elsewhere?
All sessions take place away from the house on the beach, in the woods, or at Falling Foss depending on the package.
Can we book a celebration weekend?
Yes — ethical hens, low-key stags, birthdays, reunions… as long as it’s respectful and in the spirit of the place, you’re welcome.
